Refacing Services
Cabinet refacing is the process of replacing your old doors and drawer fronts with new ones while keeping the original cabinet frames intact and refinished. This allows you to completely renew the look of your kitchen without the cost and disruption of a full cabinet replacement.
Replacing doors and drawer fronts also gives you the freedom to customize your kitchen design. At Cabinets Refinish, we offer a wide selection of door styles and wood types, ensuring your cabinets match your desired style—whether modern, classic, or antique. You can also enhance the cabinet boxes by adding moldings on the top, bottom, or sides to complement your new doors and drawer fronts. We recommend installing soft-close hinges and knobs on all refaced doors for added functionality.
Our team can custom match any finish, including stain, paint, or glaze, so you get the exact look you envision.
To respect your home and private space, all refacing and coating work for doors and drawer fronts is completed in our professional shop. On-site, we typically require about a week to prep and refinish the cabinet boxes, including masking, stripping, sanding, customization, priming, and painting or staining. Throughout the process, we provide color charts, samples, and expert guidance, ensuring you feel confident and informed with every decision.

Why Reface
Refacing your kitchen is an ideal solution for updating your kitchen’s style without the cost and disruption of a full replacement. Cabinet fronts are often replaced because they are damaged, worn, or outdated, but the underlying frames are typically still in good condition.
When you reface your cabinets, there is no need to replace the cabinet boxes. Once the frames are refinished, they look like new, eliminating the need for demolition work, countertop removal, or appliance relocation.
After the frames are refinished, new doors and drawer fronts are installed, along with soft-close hinges and updated pulls. The result is a brand-new kitchen appearance at a fraction of the cost of a full replacement, combining style, functionality, and value.
Doors and finish types:
We offer a wide selection of door styles, wood types, moldings, and finishes to suit any kitchen or cabinetry project. Customers can choose from an all solid wood door reface for premium quality or a more economical MDF door option. For the best of both worlds, we also offer a hybrid solution—solid wood frames with MDF panels—delivering excellent quality at a competitive price.
Our wood options include cherry, walnut, oak, maple, and many more. Unlike some companies, we provide both painting and staining services, customized to any finish, color, or tone. While we have our preferred specialty stains and paints, we are also happy to work with products chosen by our customers.
Our Process:
A Cabinets Refinish professional will visit your job site to measure door openings and calculate overlay dimensions, ensuring the most precise fit. The doors and drawer fronts typically take about a week to manufacture, followed by another week for coating application. On-site refinishing work usually takes up to one week to complete.
